Welcome to Renewfy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of renewfystore.com and any related buy, sell, or exchange service, including our stores in Delhi and Lucknow. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms - please read them before continuing.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, creating an account, or placing a buy, sell, or exchange order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Replacement Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

2. Definitions

• "You", "User", "Client" - the person accessing the website or using our services.
• "We", "Us", "Our", "Renewfy", "the Company" - Renewfy, operated by RENEWFY GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED.
• "Product" - any laptop, accessory, or device listed for sale, or submitted by a User for sale/exchange.
• "Order" - a confirmed request to buy, sell, or exchange a Product through the website.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• You are accessing the website from within India, and these terms are intended for users transacting within India.
• Any action you take under these terms - placing an order, submitting a device for sale, or exchange - is voluntary and not the result of any undue influence.

4. Your account

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at sales@renewfystore.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

5. Products, pricing & description

• We make every effort to accurately describe the condition, specifications, and grading of each Product, based on our 42-point quality check.
• Product images are for illustration; minor cosmetic variation between the image and the actual unit (typical of pre-owned devices) does not constitute a defect.
• Prices, offers, and availability are subject to change without prior notice and may vary by location.
• In the rare event a listed price is displayed incorrectly due to a technical error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

6. Placing an order

• An order is confirmed only once payment (or, for COD, the advance payment) is successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion - for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability - with a full refund where payment has been made.

7. Payments

• We accept payments via the methods listed at checkout, including cards, UPI, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (where available).
• Full or partial advance payment may be required for Cash on Delivery orders, as shown at checkout.
• We do not store your full card or UPI credentials; payments are processed through our payment gateway partner(s).

8. Selling or exchanging a device to us

8.1 Ownership & representations

• By submitting a device for sale or exchange, you confirm that you are the lawful owner, that the device is free of any third-party claim, lien, or finance encumbrance, and that you have the right to sell or exchange it.
• Ownership of the device transfers to Renewfy only once we receive it, confirm it matches the condition declared at the time of booking, and process your payment or exchange credit.

8.2 Condition & valuation

• The quote provided at booking is an estimate based on your declared condition. Final valuation is confirmed after our in-house inspection.
• If the device's actual condition differs materially from what was declared, we will share a revised offer. You may accept the revised offer, or decline and have the device returned to you (return shipping may be chargeable).

8.3 Data & accessories

• You are responsible for backing up and permanently erasing all personal data from the device before handing it over. Renewfy is not liable for any data loss or misuse of data left on a submitted device.
• Please remove any accounts (e.g. iCloud, Google, BIOS/firmware locks) - a device that remains locked to your account cannot be accepted.
• Payouts for accepted sell/exchange devices are processed within 7 business days of confirmation, to the bank or UPI details you provide.

9. Shipping & delivery

10. Returns, refunds & warranty

Eligibility, process, and timelines for returns, replacements, and refunds are set out in our Return and Replacement Policy. Warranty coverage for purchased devices is described on our Warranty page.

11. Prohibited activities

• Using the website or services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to another user's account, our systems, or any non-public area of the website.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt the website's functionality.
• Submitting a device for sale or exchange that is stolen, counterfeit, or not legally yours to sell.
• Scraping, reproducing, or reselling content or pricing data from the website without permission.

12. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Renewfy and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and product photography. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not republish, resell, sub-license, or reproduce material from this website without our prior written consent.

13. Reviews & user content

• If you submit a review, rating, or comment, you confirm that it is your own genuine opinion, does not infringe any third party's rights, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or offensive material.
• By posting content, you grant Renewfy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with our marketing and services.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

14. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites (courier partners, payment gateways, social media). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renewfy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or services. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Renewfy harmless from any claim, loss, or demand - including reasonable legal fees - arising out of your breach of these terms, misuse of the website, or violation of any law or third-party right.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the website at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms, with or without prior notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting Customer Support.

18. Force majeure

Renewfy is not liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government action, or courier disruptions.

19. Governing law & dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi / Lucknow.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
